Michael is the Manager of TV at Lin Pictures. He works with writers to find new ideas, develop those ideas, and hopefully sell those ideas to ultimately become your next favorite TV show. He really really loves television.
He grew up in a small town outside of Atlanta, GA where he spent most of his time playing music, writing songs, and watching TV. He then went on to follow two of his heroes, Jim Henson & Larry David, and study at the University of Maryland. He actually ended up there because of a coin flip but that’s another story for another time.
During an internship at TNT & TBS, he was introduced to development and producing and fell in love. He then spent the next few years working in New York, Washington D.C., and London to gain experience before ultimately moving out to Los Angeles.
His career started at Jerry Bruckheimer Television before moving on to the CBS series Hostages. After a few years of working in development and production he branched off on his own and began independently producing. He had a tv series optioned, produced and directed documentaries, and produced a series for Yahoo! before coming to work for Lin Pictures.
Michael is an avid fan of the TV, Atlanta Hawks, Maryland Terrapins, and guitars. He’s happy to talk about all four whenever you’d like.
