Mark Bauch

Mark grew up in London where he received his BA in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design. While at college, he worked as a freelance photographer and writer for publications such as London’s The Sunday Times, Onboard, Document Snowboard and White Lines amongst others. He also studied fine art at The Cooper Union in NYC. Upon graduating college, Mark spent 3 months in New Zealand writing and directing the snowboard mockumentary ‘KRANK!’. In 2006, Mark packed his bags and moved to LA and directed content for Nike’s action sports divisions and other clients before joining Lin Pictures to pursue a career in film development and production, while pursuing fine art photography at the side.

Mark has been with Lin Pictures since its foundation in 2008. He is head of the branded content division, which is developing and producing content for several clients. Mark is currently producing a series of five shorts for the Nobel Institute, which Academy Award-winning filmmaker Orlando von Einsiedel is directing.

Mark is also executive producing the following feature films, amongst others:

BONE at Fox, based on Jeff Smith’s beloved graphic novel, with Mark Osborne directing

THE ACTIVITY at Paramount
LUCKY GUY at Disney

Mark was born in London and has lived in New York, Cologne and Tirol. He can speak fluent German and terrible Spanish.
